CRUE Assistance - 500 EUR
The official certificate is issued by the municipality. Our 500 EUR fee covers private preparation and support: document review, municipality-specific guidance, appointment preparation and personal assistance when appropriate.
Official fees and staff travel costs are separate.
Short answer
CRUE Assistance is a private preparation and support package for eligible EU, EEA, Swiss and Andorran citizens with a real residence situation in Portugal. The 500 EUR service fee covers practical preparation, document review, municipality-specific guidance and support around the municipal step; official fees, travel costs, translations, legal or tax work and AIMA or family residence matters are separate. The Câmara Municipal issues the certificate and keeps discretion over the file.
What your 500 EUR buys
The value is not the government fee. The value is clarity, preparation and support through a municipal procedure that can vary by location and personal situation.
- We identify the correct Câmara Municipal for your residence address.
- We map your situation: worker, self-employed, student, retiree, self-sufficient person or family member.
- We prepare a document checklist adapted to your municipality and status.
- We review your documents before submission or appointment.
- We prepare the statements, explanations and appointment instructions you need.
- We support communication with the municipality where appropriate.
- We can accompany you at the municipality when needed. Staff travel costs are separate.
What is not included
The package does not include official municipal fees, staff travel costs, certified translations, apostilles, notarial acts, urgent courier work, tax advice, complex legal advice, AIMA procedures, non-EU family member residence cards, permanent residence or citizenship planning.
Why pay when the official fee is small?
Because the official fee is not the problem. The uncertainty is the problem: which municipality, which proof of address, which status documents, whether attendance is required, how to avoid a wasted visit and how to respond if the municipality asks for more evidence.
Who should use this service
This package is suitable for EU, EEA, Swiss and Andorran citizens who have a real residence situation in Portugal and want practical help with CRUE. It is especially useful when your municipality has specific requirements, your address proof is not obvious, your status is not a simple employment case or you want in-person support.
Who should not use this service
This service is not for people looking for a fictitious address, false residence declaration or a workaround. It is also not the right package for AIMA family card cases, litigation, citizenship files or tax planning. Those matters require a separate consultation.
