Health insurance for CRUE in Portugal

Do not confuse health coverage with SNS registration

Having a Portuguese SNS user number is a healthcare administrative step. It is not the same as CRUE. Also, official guidance notes that a user number alone does not always guarantee coverage of healthcare expenses.
