Privacy Policy
Draft — to be finalised before public launch. Last updated: 2026-06-04.
Staging draft
This privacy policy is a structural draft. Legal entity details, privacy contact, DPO details and final legal language will be provided before public launch as part of the production inputs package.
1. Who we are
CRUE Portugal is a private assistance service operated by OKNO - Documentação e Prestação de Serviços, LDA (OKNO LDA), registered in Portugal. For privacy inquiries, contact us via the contact form on this website. Legal entity details including registration number and registered address will be confirmed in the final version of this policy.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect contact data you submit through the forms on this website: name (optional), phone number, email address, and the information you provide in your inquiry. We also collect technical data such as page URL, page context, referrer URL and UTM parameters to understand how you reached our service.
3. Why we collect it
We process your personal data to respond to your inquiry about CRUE assistance in Portugal, to route your request to the appropriate team and to assess whether our service is suitable for your situation. We do not use your data for automated decision-making. We do not sell your data.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (as indicated by the consent checkbox in each form) and in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a service agreement.
5. How we store and protect your data
Form submissions are routed to a private Telegram inbox accessible only to the CRUE Portugal team. We do not use a CRM database for initial inquiries. Your data is not stored in a public database.
6. How long we keep your data
We retain inquiry data for a period necessary to handle your request and any follow-up. If a service agreement is entered into, a separate data retention schedule applies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form on this website.
8. Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies/storage are used to run the site (including remembering your consent choice). With your analytics consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure aggregate usage, page performance and traffic by page, locale and source, in order to improve content. These analytics do not run before you accept, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via ‘Cookie preferences’ in the footer. We do NOT send names, email addresses, phone numbers, free-text message content, documents or personal immigration details to analytics. See the Cookie Policy for the specific cookies and how to change preferences.
9. How your contact data is used vs analytics
The information you voluntarily submit through a form (for example the Free CRUE Check) is delivered to the CRUE Portugal operational channel — a private Telegram inbox accessible only to the team — so we can respond to your enquiry and assess whether the service fits your situation. It is used to respond to your request, not to build analytics events, and no outcome is guaranteed. Standard technical server logs (access/error logs) are kept for security, debugging and availability.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated as needed. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page. Final legal wording should be reviewed by a qualified privacy/legal advisor before being treated as legal advice.
